Consultant appointment yesterday!

Well I had to have an appointment with my consultant yesterday just to do general checks. Baby's doing find, his little heart is beating away like it should be and he's still wriggling like mad! But my blood pressure was up and I have protein in my wee, plus I'm showing signs of developing pre-eclampsia, so they done a blood test and I had to wait nearly 3 hours on the ward for the results before I was allowed to go home!

So frustrating being surrounded by women in early labour! Bloods came back ok, but I have to ring up delivery suite on monday to get a time to go in for another blood test and to do all the checks again, got me a bit worried that they want it done specifically on monday, not wait till tuesday when the day clinic is open again (shut on monday because of bank holiday!) but I'm surviving! Just a bit stressed now and feeling very emotional today!

Aww glad all is well with your little one... Its good they seen to u got the tests done and the bloods came back ok. Monday will be here before u know it and it's good they are wanting to check up on u again quickly... Your baby is full term now so if anything does show up on the results they may want to be on top of it straight away... Just think of it as, if it come to it, it wouldn't be a big problem if u have to have him now coz he is full term!

Easier said than done I know but try relax if u can xxxx

Glad baby is well. At least they are checking on you rather than leave you and then something be wrong. I'm sure everything will be okay. Don't stress or that will make your BP go up. xx
