Ladies, I'm currently in my TWW I think, got all the symptoms and everything.. But I was wondering if I get a positive do any of you advise to take regular tests throughout the first trimester to keep a check that the baby is still there and not 'gone'..? It's one of my worrys that I'll find out I'm PG but then at my 12 week scan find out otherwise :( xxx

tbh honest a lot of people will do this but the pregnancy test pick up such a low amount of hormone that you could still get a positive HPT while you are in the process of mc. Does that make sense?? I think it may cause you unnecessary worry as you may well know some people also can have negative tests at different times of day when they are indeed pregnant?!? Does that also make sense...

Bit of a ramble but in my honest opinion I dont think it's a true representative of whether the pregnancy is healthy or not xx

Thanks , dw about the ramble ahaha :) I just wanted to know if it was something a lot of people did, but just seems it's me being too over daft! Lost one... don't want to loose another... Thankyouu :) xxx

No trust me its a thing that loads of people do....its not you being daft at all..

I have had two mcs myself so understand completely where you're coming from hun...

I just learnt the hard way that it's more painful with constant testing :) xx

Oh bless you... Yeah I suppose thinking about it, it'd drag it all out a lot moreand confuse me way more if I did it! xxx

Use the money you would spend on loads of tests to treat yourself and relax :) xxxxxxxxx

Ahaaa good idea! I need it! I've gotta chill out a bit from now on as I'm No.1 STRESSER! Can't wait to have my little ticker <3 xxx

Hi hun, i wouldnt keep testing. Tbh i couldnt bring my self to do it. Good luck xx

When I mc I still tested positive. Just try not to panic or be obsessive that's the best way x

Personally i only ever took one test. Theres been a lot of people one here who've done quite a lot, and IMO it causes nothing but worry. The hormone levels can flutuate during the day, which means that tests can look paler, or digital ones can go from 3 weeks down to 2, which just makes people think they are having a MC.

If you need a bit of reassuarance maybe a couple right at start, but after that dont do it.

xxx
