Anyone else having these? I've been getting them on and off for weeks and I know it's normal, but today they are really painful and constant. I never had them with my son at all until I was in labour, but the fact that today they are really strong and constant is worrying me.

Are these normal? Any one else having them constantly?

I've been getting them but they are not constant!

Have you been walking a lot today? That sometimes causes me to get them!

Also my midwife said sometimes if your getting a uti it can cause period like pains?

If your worried though def give your midwife a call! Just in case it's early labour?

Thanks Mrs.s.

They have eased off to intermittent, and regular low back pains too. Am so hoping that LO comes in the next 2 weeks lol

Haven't done any walking today, or anything excessive at all. Weeing is normal, no stiinging, not extra thirsty or any signs of uti atm, but will def keep it in mind over the next 24 hours.

Pleeeeeease let LO come early lol

Ooh have you started timing them? It could be it couldn't it?

Haha me too I'm so over being pregnant now just want baby here! I say all this but I still don't have my bag packed!

Me neither. I finally have a bag to pack at last though so am going to be getting it done tomorrow, hopefully!

No, not timing them, I don't think they are in any pattern... prob should time them lol

The laid back approach is always best!

Sounds like you need to get yours packed just in case!

Am I right in thinking your labour started like mine last time with waters going first? My contractions didn't start till 24hrs later so I always think I'm not going to believe I'm in labour if it doesn't start the same way lol!

I'm getting them too :( sometimes constant and sometimes not! I didn't have anything like this with my first either!

Yeah my waters went, had a few contractions then nothing, but because my cervix was opened they had to induce me 16 hours after waters had gone, which is where it went wrong really because, later found out, baby was already in distress from the amount of waters that went and induction didn't please him!!! Just hope that this time I get to experience as natural birth as possible, but am not having any big plans or ideas, just what will be will be!

i get these every now and again, i tend to get woken up by it tbh and end up dropping back off to sleep while i've still got the pains, also had it a few times through the day where i've had pain in my lower back too, the longest this happened was 2 hours, i seem to be ok lately though thank God  dont seem half as achy etc so maybe it was just how LO was laid in my case...who knows! xx

I did wonder if it was how LO had settled, she was really active this morning and wondered if she settled on a nerve or something? The pains are still going, intermitment, haven't timed them at all, but it has now been ongoing since around midday. I'm getting loads of niggly pains today as well.

I tried to pack my case earlier, but it's too small lol Gotta wait til tomorrow for OH to swap it (borrowing from MIL).

Oooh maybe something is occurring in your case hun :D
I know what you mean about packing, i've borrowed mums overnight bag, managed to fit the majority of the stuff into it but thinking with what else needs to go in i may have to use the changing bag for LO's stuff and overnight bag just for me

I think that because I want her to come early so badly... she will be late lol I think I am just gonna be tormented with the thought of early labour. But fingers crossed she doesn't make me wait too long. Although ideally 2 more weeks cooking would be for the best! Plus am waiting for some ebay stuff to turn up lol xxx

ahh i have been the same, hoping she will come early like DD did, i have it in my mind she will be a June baby for some reason, but whose betting she proves me wrong and ends up been well over due :wall:

Another 2 weeks for you would be ideal, i keep telling my self anything from 37wks would be good although OH disagrees as he wont get full paternity pay :(

xx
