CONFUSED! Please work out my weeks!

I THINK the first day of my last period was either the first or second week of Sept. I had unprotected sex on 13th Sept. I took a pregnancy test 23rd which was positive. I wouldnt even have been due my period then so how did it register? My sis remembers me saying my last period was in August but my scan said im 5 weeks? What on earth??

You can get a positive result before your period is due. Periods can be confusing with the dates. If you had unprotected sex on the 13th Sept that would make you 5 weeks tomorrow from the date of conception.

Don't worry though, the baby is so small at the moment it's pretty hard to measure accurately.

Thanks both, and thanks for all the dates! I noticed 1st heartbeat is 11th of this month, well i had a scan last Wednesday and no heartbeat was there, only the sac?

that's normal for 5 weeks the fetol pole will be too small, its around 6 weeks you see the fetal pole and a hb
