Confused again LOL

I'm not sure which day to class as day one of my cycle. Sunday morning when I went to loo there was blood in the loo & when I wiped. During the day the water in loo was red when I'd been but not much on my pad. The yesterday af came proper with blood as normal on pad. Should I class Sunday or yesterday as day one of my cycle?

Not an expert - new to this - but i think count Sunday as that was when your uterus started 'shedding' if you know what i mean. No smoke without fire eh?
