confused about due date

i had my scan on the 6th feb and the sonographer told me i was 13 weeks 2 days but my due date is the 15th of august which would make me 13weeks 6 days relly confused because i thought i should be 14 weeks 2 days anyone help

Hiya sometimes they don't change your due date if there's only a few days init.

My due date is 18th August and I'm 13+3 think it depends on the lenght of your cycle at the begining I lost 2 days because I have a 26 day cycle but now the weeks match up.

Its all so confusing aint it, when my sister went for her scan she was only off 1 day but they actually changed her date from July 16th to the 15th , think it all depends on who you go see.
Im sure you can make your own mind up when you want it?

i went for my 12-week scan at (i thought) 14+5 weeks but they put me back to 13+2 weeks, although on my maternity notes they put my date as june 12th which would hav made me 13+0 weeks at the time. it is confusing, but i guess the baby will come when its good and ready anyway, it dont matter what date ur given! (unless u hav an elective c-section)
my sister and one of my girlfriends said their dates were put back too, but their babies came early (so it seems their periods were right all along!)
the good thing about being put back tho is that u got extra time to be considered overdue so less chance of being induced
