Well we went to Carrefore (bit like Asda only a French company in Spain).. And we saw a lovely solid wooden table and four chairs all for 115... which is great because we don't have any chairs or a table in our house... we have to eat off our laps and its really getting to me... I want to have a nice family meal at the table...
So we tell the lady we want this table and chairs... only to be told they don't have any left... and that the 115 is only until the end of that day... If we wanted the table and chairs we would have to pay the full price of 250...
So my DH, who is a very stressed bunny atm, threw a huge wobbly in the store and eventually the manager came down...who finally agreed to let us have the show model with was clearly damaged, so again, DH threw another wobbly and they will now order a new one for us, and we can have it for 115, even got it in writing. All we need to make sure is that we have the cash ready to hand to the delivery men when they come next week or the week after..
So complaining really does get you somewhere.
