Comfort Milk

Hi

We have just moved LO on to comfort milk. He never had full blown colic in that he was up for hours crying but he is a very windy baby so has been on infacol. He seems a bit more comfortable today and I wondered how long you keep a baby on comfort milk for? He is coming up for 9 weeks and I know colic usually subsides by 12weeks so would we move him back on to regular milk then or keep him on comfort milk until weaning?

Also, did anyone feed comfort milk and keep up the infacol?

Last question, how do you make feeds when out and about again? We've never had to do it as we just used the ready made bottles! x

I used comfort right up until 6 months old.... but i'm sure he could have come off it sooner!

I put my little boy on it about 2 weeks ago. He's 5weeks now. It's made sooooo much difference and think I'll keep him on it till about 6months. Tho my HV said not to use infocol and comfort milk. So just the milk alone seems to have worked. And we did buy anti colic bottles x

I've just stopped BFing and moved onto formula, not sure if there's a special way to prepare the comfort milk but I tend to take a bottle
of cooled boiled water out with me and a formula dispenser and when Caleb's due a bottle mix it up and then heat it in a flask of hot water.
Other people I know do the same but put 1oz less of cooled boiled water in than they need and top it up with boiling water to make the bottle slightly warm. x

Hv told us we could keep him on it until he was 1 if we wanted to
