I have got an interview at college at 1pm

appiled for a teachers aid course with a plan to go on to do a teaching course (want to teach primary age).

a couple of people have said to me, "ohh your still doing it then? are you sure thats wize being pregnant"

why would i not do it just coz im pregnant, i hate it when people assume your usless just coz your having a baby, the course is only 1 evening a week for 2 hours so i think i can manage it

has anyone else had negitive comments about college/work/anything just coz your pregnant or got a little one?

xx

good for you layla hun good luck today xxxxxxxx

Hi Layla

No I haven't experienced that but I just wanted to say good for you.

I have every confidence you'll do it well.

Good luck

Hope your interview goes well layla! don't let people's opinions put you off doing what you want!

what kind of teachers aid course is it? is it an access course?

i want to teach primary age too, but because i don't have a qualification of alevel standard, i need to do the access course first, then start my degree.

let us know how you got on

I haven't had this experience but also wanted to wish you luck. Most people seem to think when you are having a baby you turn into this wee fragile thing that'll break if given anything to do but you'll show them!!

Go for it!!!! I got QTS with my degree and never did a thing with it, waste of 4 years :( It's great that you know what you want to do - don't let anyone stand in your way

FIL and grandFIL are always having a go at me for working  Tell them you're having babies every year until you're 40 so it will be easier to get started on the course now

interview went ok, i had to do some tests :?

english, maths, etc

i will get called back soon for a second interview and will get told how i did and wether i can start the course.

xx
