do u give bubba calpol if there not running a temp ? leland is soooo snotty , sneezing , grzzly off food and sleepy

Aww sounds like he's got that headcold thats going around, I personally would try him with a dose of calpol and see if it helps and lets him get some sleep cos if its same as what we've had u get a nasty headache with it and im sure he'll feel worse if he's tired.

Some parents dont like giving calpol, I wont give it unless I feel she needs it but the way I see it if it will make her feel better then its worth giving it to her :) up to you hun, do what you think is best for him and your instinct will be right im sure

thanks jo , ive got it too :wall: were both snotty lmao and brian has said he thinks his throat is getting sore aswell! ewwww snotty household lmao

his also had 3 rather minngy pooey nappies today :puke: farely erm loose but not watery ya know ? hope his ok :(

It does seem to be going around. My little one is full of snot at the mo to. Ive tried calpol but doesnt seem to be doing much. I brought some 'snuffle babe' vapour rub from asda. really helps to clear his nose when i put him down to sleep. Also i asked my HV and she said if it gets worse then the doctor can prescribe him some nasil drops.

i brought nasal drops , they were only 99p but dont seem to do much .

weve also had a huge projectile vomit this morning resulting in me , him , sofa and carpet cleaning :( got docs today for a repeat prescription for gaviscon so sure she'll check him over then

Use em regular and they will begin to work, also try one drop of albas oil on a tissue nearby or take him in bathroom while u having a shower & the steam should hopefully help

his only been awake this morning to feed at 10  poor lil mite

think ill give weigh in a miss today .

awwww  me and mia have just got over this :( ive given calpol..and like jo says go with your instinct...but dont be worried about giving it him thats what its there for.. hope your all feeling better soon

Adam has just got over a bad cold and I gave him some calpol but I never found that it did much.

I just used carvol but your lo needs to be 3 months + , nasal drops and one of those things that suck the snot out of his nose (forgot the name).

I found that Adam's reflux got worse during his cold, so don't be too surprised if your lo's a bit more sick than usual.

Hope he is feeling a little better.

more sick wasnt the word this morning , i tried a meal without gaviscon as he was only ment to be on it at night , well , me , him , the sofa and the carpet looks liked we'd bathed in milk :puke: honestly it was like watching a seen from the omen !

his also had a nose bleed today , just a small one  had to go nurse for a repeat for gaviscon and she said it was fine :(

his slept alllll day but waken for feeds but his been awake since his last one at 6 so im hoping he feels a lil bit better
