I turned 30 this year and my OH turned 40 this year we currently own an apartment but planned on saving for a deposit for a house so we can rent our apartment out were not engaged but we do plan on getting married July 2016.

However recently i have been more aware that my biological clock is ticking and we both feel ready however i do think that it might delay things with a house and a wedding and i honestly dont know what i would like more i deally we all want the house the marriage before but i understand it cant always work out that way

if i was to wait until i was 33 will that be to late as i would ideally liek two children i also have the coil and wondered if any one knows how long it can take once you have this removed to concieve

i look forward to your replies

Thanks

I think you're fertile the second the coil leaves your body, so on that front it wouldn't delay anything. For me personally, although I got married at 25, the house is way more important than the marriage! And if you wanted to work part time after your babies are born, you might not get as a good a mortgage. I would definitely save for the house, and have the baby later. 33 is no age really in terms of becoming a mother. I had my 2 at 29 & 31 and I'm planning another for when I'll be 35/36.

It might even have been quite nice to have the kids be part of the wedding, so once things have settled you could include your kids in it?

Personally I would rather have the family home rather then the wedding.
Ive been with ny other half just over a year and being 28 I would rather a baby over a wedding at the moment.

Thanks everyone for your replies, i think your right about the mortgage and working part time and i suppose i hadnt thought about that part

so now am thinking i will wait until summer 2015 and look at were we are at then and decide from there as hopefully we would almost be getting a house by then

Thanks ladies

6 months til summer will pass so quickly.

I was 38 3 weeks after having my first LO in march this year. For me personally I wanted to wait until we were married. I'd been on the pill since I was 18 but we fell pregnant the first month of trying. Trying for no 2 at Xmas.
