Clueless about cycles...

Hi girls,
I'm totally clueless about cycles and mine have never been regular. I've just stopped taking dianette and have just finished af cd5 and have had a wee pain in my left side (cd7). I was thinking this might be what ov pain feels like, but it's too early for ov, are my cycles just really messed up? Anyone else have weird wee pains at the wrong times?

I think everyone has the odd twinge at times hun, it will take a bit of getting used to, getting to know your cycles properly, but it all depends on how long your cycles last.
Of course you COULD be ovulating early, you never really know!

I agree with Princess that the twinges can be a bit all over the place, maybe over time you'll become familiar with a twinge that occurs around when you ovulate but to know for sure you'd have to use OPKs.

Try not to worry too much. If you've just come off your contraception then all you can do is keep a diary and see if there is any correlation

Thanks girls, I'm starting to keep notes on everything from now on. I think it's just the unknown or that I'm unsure, it's nice to get others comments and advice xx
