Clearblue Ov Test - surge already?

Hi Ladies - I'm after some advice again

I started using clearblue ovulation testing sticks today. I'm a regular 28 day cycle and today is day 11. So...I was a bit shocked as I think it is showing a surge. The surge line is the same as the control line....its not stronger but its definitely not fainter. I POAS at 7.30pm having not pee-ed for 4 hrs (as the directions recommend and on the basis that I'm sure I remembered someone saying its better to test in the evening). So does this sound right? I'd been assuming that I was ovulating on day 14 - ie Sunday where as this test is saying tomorrow or Saturday....what do you think ladies? Bit of a problem as OH is away tonight so if we DB tomorrow and sat or sun do you think I'll catch the egg?

i never got on with opks hunny but i would say if you got a line then BD tomorrow definitely and everyday for the next few days if you can to give you the best chance to catch the egg.

i'm sure you'll get better advice from all the poas aholics x

I think that the LH surge is about 12 to 36 hours before the egg releases so tomorrow should be just about ok

but remember OPK's indicate possible ovulation not definite ovulation, sometimes your body can build up to ovulation, not ovulate and then build up again and actually ovulate a few days later so keep an eye on your cm.

Ok....well yesterday I had a sharp pain in my right hand side that kept nagging for a couple of hours. I suddenly realised it was probably an OV pain! OH & I BDed last night and again this morning. Fingers crossed we caught the egg just in time.
