Christmas pressies

My Oh's neice who lives in New zealand and he has only seen once is 7 years old and her and her mum are coming over for christmas and we dont have a clue what to buy her or her mum.

Anyone give us some ideas?

How about something good that she can take in her hand luggage and use on the plane on the way home, like a nice book or one of those electronic pets.

For her mom...erm...something she can't get over there...like a gift basket from LUSH.

He has been looking at Gameboy advance on ebay and seems to like the idea, but i am worried she is going to think its a bit out of date.

I saw this teddy dog thing in toys are us that was the new nintendog toy.

I think he is getting me a DS plus they are about £80/90 so a bit to out of the price range for that.

Might look into the Dog teddy thing.
