Our baby will be around 4 weeks old at Christmas time and just wondering what a nice gift will be from the baby to grandparents and other relatives ? Or do we need to buy them a gift with her being so young? x
I think with such a young baby some kind of photo memoir type gift would be nice maybe a calander that starts out just you two then a scan picture then a bump picture and then lots of cute baby pictures plus this will help you get through lots of them tiny baby clothes you will get loads of but not enough days to wear each item lol.
Nothing. We'll buy presents but not from our baby., just stuff we think they'll like same as every other year. Maybe next year we might get them something personalised but even then it'll be from our family not specifically the baby. Otherwise don't you set your kids up for having to buy their relatives presents every year? We didn't buy gifts for my mum and dad till we were old enough to earn our own money and choose the present ourselves (so teenagers) - we made them when we were kids but gifts to grandparents at Christmas were always from our family as opposed to us kids. Different for everyone I suppose but we have so many to buy for already - both have massive families so Christmas is expensive enough as it is - so if we doubled up on presents we'd be screwed! We'll get a nice photo printed though and put that into cards for our closest family members. xx
We're giving gifts from our lo. He's giving his nan a frame with a photo from his 7 month shoot. He's giving my brother a mug with some pics of his uncle and him on days out saying #1 uncle. I got my dad a keyring off etsy with his photo set behind glass. He will be 11 months so he should be able to hand it to them.
