Chlamydia & TTC

I've always been worried about this in the back of my mind but now I'm more worried as we've been trying 5 months and no BFP.

I got diagnosed with Chlamydia 9 years ago & had it for around 6 months I think. I had no symptoms just went along with a friend & thought I'd get checked too, couldn't believe I had it!!

Is anyone else in the same position?

I voiced my concern to my doctor at the start of TTC and she said they wouldn't do any tests until we'd been trying for a while, which I can understand but now it's worrying me which can't be good when trying either.

Has anyone concieved after having Chlamydia? I think I just need some reasurance.

I had chlamydia in august last year i dont know how long id had it but id just gone for a routine check and got diagnoised with it and it had also given me pelvic inflammatory disese which is what makes you infertile as it attacks the tubes and causes cramping or pain in your pelvic area which i had been getting but didnt think about it. I got pregnant in november last year Im sure your fine and it takes a normal couple up to a 1yr or 2 to conceive. so good luck x
