Child Trust Fund?

Hey..

Has anyone got the child trust fund voucher? If they did, did they open a bank account for their LO?

yes i did it for Louie a few months ago, the voucher came when he was about 2 months old & i went to the Nationwide & opened up a child trust fund.
i thought it goes in an account that you can add money too aswell, but it doesn't, it goes into a seperate special account.
so they have this account & then you open up another one for putting savings into.

oh i thought tht too, if its that way then ill just open her an account with my own bank.

Theres 3 types of accounts which one did u pick?

Ditto, thats exactly what we did

we had ours through we have sent ours off to halifax to open a stakeholder account where we can add to every month by direct debit.
