Everyone is entitled to Child Benefit hun. You should get an application form in your bounty pack I believe.
Child Tax Credits are income related :) x

People with over a certain income will pay a tax charge - depending on how much you earn it could cancel out the benefit and not be worthwhile. I think it's around £50/60k. The form has a box to tick if you don't want to claim child benefit for tax reasons x

Is that my standard income or what i will earn on maternity leave as i am only going to be entitled to maternity allowance? X

its either of you (mother or father). I think if you / partner earn 50k you also have to do a self assessment tax return. Take a look on gov.uk website x

It will refer to regular income as child benefit is payable long after mat leave ends. If you look on gov.com you should find further details x
