My god i have twice the fun now both my lo's seem to have got them but the blooming doctors wont do anything for them and they have the sniffle's and sick too they told me they just need to run the course :(

oh no not chickenpox
my older 2 had it together when they were 2 & 7, but even then it was bad, they had them everywhere, even their privates
not a lot you can do apart from calpol/medised/nurofen for kids, you could try calamine lotion or eurax (thats good) lotion for the spots.

i'm not much help i know, but theres not much you can do, lots of
so sorry they've got this, especially as they are both so young.
take care.

My doctor told me never to use calamine lotion as it makes the itching worse!
I have chicken pox at 25!! i tried calamine lotion and by god did it itch.. it was soothing at first but then it dried to a crust and itched like hell.
I then changed to E45 lotion and E45 bath emolient and that was bliss!! it soothed all the itching and the doc gave me an e45 itch relief creme coz i had the blisters everywhere

so when my lo gets chicken pox i will be using a moisturising creme and calpol or medised.

awww i hate chicken pox!! my eldest two had them together and the eldest was hardly bothered by them but the Rebekah was COVERED!! Emily used to spend her time picking them off rebekah so she has got loads of scars too.

I don't envy you :(

Try baking powder in the bath, about 3 tsp, it puts a layer over the skin and helps to stop itching. (google if you don't believe me!)

Hope they don't get it too bad, good luck.
