Sorry its took a while but here's my birth story!!!!
I was due to be induced this wednesday. But instead was induced last wednesday..
I went to my routine consultant appt at 40+5, my blood pressure was sky high, I had a water infection and lack of fetal movements so they decided to get her out!
I got sent up to the ward and pessery went in, then mins after my contractions were coming on non stop and too strong - on the monitor it went up to 99 in strength! I was in agony!!! After about two hours my waters went (such an amazing feeling) and there were tonnes of it!!!!!! After my waters went my contractions slowed down a little and I was actually having two minute breaks in between them. But they soon sped up again. I buzzed the midwife and finally asked for pain relief.. All they could offer me was two paracetamol.. So of course I took it.. It did nothing but made things worse. About another two hours later tthey finally decided to take the pessery out as my contractions were non stop! But taking it out didn't do anything.
After about another four hours of this horrific pain and me begging to go up to the labour suiteso I can get some sort of pain relief, they started talking about putting me on a drip and slowing my contractions. They buzzed the doctor at 8, he didn't come down til around half thre in the morning. So after twelve hours of pure agony I was finally taken up to the delivery suite! Where I immediatly got on that gas and air!!! They gave me a shot of diamorphine which helped nicely and with that and gas and air I managed to relax and just chat utter shit to the midwives because I was so high..
They put a canula in and started to slow my conntractions, aswell as hooking me up to a bag of fluid as I was horrfically dehydrated!! All in all I had abour 9 bags of fluid.
Anyway so the next few hours were quite ok. But then my contractions started getting worse ad diamorphine was starting to wear off. So of course I asked for the epidural, which worked .. Sort of.. They saw on the monitor that lotties heart rate was sky high and then all over the place, so they took blood from her head to see if she was, the results came back saying she was ok for now!
They tried to make me wee but I couldn't due to the epidural so they stuck a cathetar in my wee hole which bloody hurt!!!!!! I filled the jug with foul infected wee!
Hours went by and I started getting extreme pain and pressure in my bum.. I knew she was coming!! I kept telling them but they were saying 'that's normal' but no seriously! She was coming!!!! I asked to be examined whilst they put a second cathhetar in and there she was.. It was time to push! And holy shit did I push!!!! 30 mins of pushing and then she started getting distressed and the doctor said we have to get her out so he suggested getting the ssuction thing which sucks them out by there head, I heard its agony for them and they come out with a cone head so I wasn't having any of it! I gave three almighty pushes and out she popped!!!!!! The most beautiful thing in the world! She did a big poo as soon as she came out so its a good job she came out when she did!

I've missed out loads as towards the end I was high but it was just pure agony and distress, but so worth it. I would do it every day of the week for her.
