Changing Name

Hello, As you know i am now a married woman. (oh my good, that is weird)

Do i need to notify people like the child benifit , national insurance, inland revenue, and other goverment organistions like the electorl roll? Or is there a way it will all have been done though some kind of data base? If I have to do where do i start? Do I just wait for them to contract me then tell them the change of name?

you should phone them all and let them no. its hassel i no but i have to do it every time i move house

i was wondering this too! do you have to prove your married (sounds stupid!) e.g. have to send of marriage certificate to all these companys?
