Changing birth certificate..

Is it possible to change information on your LO's birth certificate?

If so, how do u do it, is there a fee etc?

I think in my area you are only allowed to change info on a birth certificate if the mother and father of the child got married after LO was born

I am pretty sure you are allowed to change the babies name upto a yr old if that helps?

first name/ last name or both!!! when AJ was about 2 months old i really regretted calling him AJ as we had Louis for ages and when he was born he was meant to be a louis!!

you get one free name change i believe but on every form you fill out like passport etc you have to explain why. Just go to the registry office and ask =) x
