Cervix position

What shoudl your cervix be like when your about to go into labour, apart from dialating i mean, how long should it be, mine was 2cms long and admitted a finger tip, whatdoes this mean/??

Should be low down and thin Mel. If they can get a fingertip in I would have thought it would mean you're dilated a bit which is great. My cervix was high, long and closed when I was induced Open is good!

Lets say a fingertip is about 1cm so your open and ready hun, any day now i reckon
