CD and implant removal question!

Hi ladies I'm not actually ttc but thought this was the best place to ask! I had my implant out on sat and am wanting to properly work out mu cycles and stuff and learn my body a bit better! God that makes no sense but I've got brain freeze!

So anyway, my question is, if it came out on sat, would that make it CD1? Even tho i was bleeding at the time?! Have got opks coming so I can see what's going on and all that but was just wondering!

Really difficult to say! I would count it as cd1 and start doing opks in about a week, not had the implant before but I'm guessing it will be a bit like other hormonal contraception and the first couple of cycles will be a bit strange.

Thanks Hun! I was expecting things to be a bit weird for the first few cycles! Just looking forward to actually having proper cycles again rather than bleeding almost constantly like I have been!

it takes a few months for the implant to wear off completely so even if u get your cycle back (i never lost mine) it may take a while. i had my implant out in feb and im 5 weeks gone now. i had anticipated 6 months for it to wear off and didnt think about trying or worrying about it as it does seem if u try too hard it can be difficult just because your tense lol. i hope your body gets back to regularity nice and quick for you hun.

Alice i would call cd1 the first day of your bleed even though you still had the implant in. It will stop you driving yourself potty wondering wot day to choose. x

Oh Jesus Amy, I've been bleeding on and off for 8 weeks! Like one day off ad then it starts again! So I'd be on like cd 60 odd

i was like that since april did my tits right in im hoping now af is gone (as of yeterday yaaaay) i will be back to normal

I think I would be tempted to call the day of removal CD 1 coz that's when your body will start preparing for ov I imagine. Xx

I bled constantly on the implant too - it's horrible.

No advice on cycles back as I went back on the pill, but when I had my implant out the constant bleeding stopped almost immediately

I bled constantly for like 3 months, then it stopped for about 4, which happened to be when I wasn't getting any then it came back just before I met my OH! Bleedings stopped now! No more hormonal stuff for me, I want my body back to normal! Hadn't used anything hormonal for years til I got the implant and it's well fucked me up!
