Car Seat - what do you recomend???? (cheapish!!!)

We have a Maxi Cosi Priorfix

for Arianna which we love, but I really dont want to take it with me on the flight to Houston, firstly as it is quite bulky but more importanatly I dont want it to get damaged.

Can any of you suggest a good seat that doesnt cost a fortune that I could buy to take with me and I would just leave it there for future use.

Can you buy one there honey or your MIL get one for you? It just seems a lot to take with Arianna/buggy/luggage etc for you.

Well I have been thinking that - but my dearest mother in law isnt the sharpest tool in the box... so I would prob end up with either one for a baby or one for over 4yr old!

I am searching online for American stores that will ship straight to them, so that is an option!

How about one of the cheaper Maxi-cosi ones? That way you have a brand you trust.

sarah what about american ebay ? they surely do new car seats on there ? and when i was there walmart did loads of carseats ? but i dunno if its the right part of the states sorry
