Capital radio and recording scans

My friend has informed me that she was listening to Capital radio a couple of days ago when Johnny Vaughn said that if you take a blank VHS tape with you to your scan, the sonographer can record it for you.

I haven't heard this before, and wouldn't want to be so cheeky as to ask if it was a big no-no.

Did anyone else hear this, or know anything about it? Or have any of you done this before?

I have a video of my 20 wk scan of DS, that was done 6 years back, i had to pay £8 then to have this done.And he had hiccups bless him.

Our scan pics now cost £3 each
