This is the start of another day where i havent managed to keep anything down that im trying to eat. Im getting slightly worried that im not giving baby what it needs to grow.
On the pregnicare packet it says take with main meal, but im not having a main meal, are they ok to just take on there own? x x

I had this too and had the same concerns. I couldn't get to see the midwife so saw my GP and he said the baby doesn't get nourishment from Mum at this stage. It's not til later on on Tri 2 that they get this from food but it's important to drink. Even if u have to chew ice or eat I d lollies, just keep the fluids up as dehydration isn't good for you or baby. But don't worry where food is concerned as that's not as important just yet.

Hope you feel better soon hun. You'll be ravenous before you know it!! Xx

I really feel for you, think my nausea has changed to just afternoons and evenings so things might settle soon, last week was hell. I've been taking my vitamins whenever I can usually when I get a 'pause' in the feelings and rarely with any food so I'm sure they would be fine to take without a meal. Hopefully you can keep them down. I also read that baby will take everything from your body stores so long as you drink the bean will be fine, ice is def a good option. Did you get the sea sick bands in the end? I'm convinced they take the edge off for me.

I feel for you as Im not being  at all but the nausea and dizzyness is there all day and I had to take major deep breaths on the bus yesterday on the way to work. Then a lady in a meeting had a cardamom and fennel seed tea bag and I could have been  all over the dishwasher!

Thanks for you advice ladies, ive just been to asda and got myself lots of fruit to pick at.
Im going to town tomorrow, so im going to pick up some sickness bands from boots, hoping they will take the edge of it x x

Found something that sort of works for me yesterday. I am eating carrot sticks constantly all day.... this makes me feel a little better... but good to know that baby is not relying on me for food as I am sure that a carrot stick diet is not good nutrition.....
