Can you get the sack?

Can you get the sack for taking a lot of time off to take your child to the gp? i have missed loads since i came back and am worried they could sack me. Can they do that legally or not? i did not hear anything from my school but i feel guilty missing so much school!!!!

i think they would have a case where do u work could you talk to your boss

where i work you are entitled to take about 10 weeks unpaid leave before your child turns 6 might be worth finding out if that applies to you or if they have something similar
