Well the reason I was asking was, I had AF last week for the first time since I came off my pill. It took about 5 weeks to come. I finished a AF last Friday morning.i have been totally clear and then yesterday (Tuesday) I have a brown type discharge which was just a wipe.

Yes you can ...
It is possible to ovulate at any time of your cycle. For example on a 8 day cycle the typical information available is you will O around day 14 ... NOT always the case! A woman may ovulate earlier in her cycle, later in her cycle, twice in one cycle & its even possible to conceive whist you have your period.
Brown discharge after AF has finished would bring me questions even to test to 'rule things out'. Its also possible to have a period whist pregnant. I'm not saying you are of course but it is possible.
