can we eat home-made cheesecake???

Thought you guys on here might know the answer to this as I just cannot find anything to say yes or no..??

Just been given a massive chocolate cheesecake from "the Cheesecake shop" so its a proper cheesecake.. home made etc... as a birthday cake from my boss ...

Now worried that I may not be able to eat any!!!

Anyone know if its OK as I seem to recall reading somewhere that it is a no-no for preggers women...??

I think its something to do with pasteurisation. If it is made with pasteurised milk/cream/eggs then it should be fine. If not, then I would avoid, but you probably want someone to confirm that
