can u put tattoos over veins?

im still a tattoo virgin- the only one iv fancied consistently since i was 14 is a 5-pointed star (outline) but dont know where to put it.

co-incidentally, i have a little "spider-vein" on my leg which iv had since i was 9 (not a varicose or bumpy one, just a small, thin, flat, but unpretty- spider-like vein)

my sister forked out thousands of pounds for one of these removed by laser and it didnt really work

im not paying that but seeing as i want a tattoo anyway ( sssh! dont tell my mummy haha) i could cover up my ugly blemish?

or is there a health reason i cant put it there?

I cant see why not. If you can have them over your wrists I would think it would be okay there.

ooh ok! i wanted black outline only, but as i'm hiding a blemish i spose i'll have to colour it in. what colour, pink? orange? white? purple? which colours last longest?

I just asked OH as he has a few tattoos and one of his goes over a vein on his wrist and he said he doesn't think it would be a problem. And I'm sure the tattooist (think thats what their called!) would say if it was a problem before they did it

My tattoo (on my foot) goes slightly over the vein and it was fine

I've got them over veins, always been fine. Doesn't hurt more than any others either!
