...a tampon for my first AF?

After 12 weeks it's finally arrived today and I have been wearing a pad cos I vaguely remember someone telling me not to use a tampon (I think)

is this true? Or have a dreamed it? cos I can't wear a pad any longer...it driving me up the bloody wall I feel totally minging

I used tampons on my First AF after Mhairi.

I still get the odd cloty bit, but i've not had any problems!

to you about the pads, I put one on for about 10 minutes and I feel I need a shower

I had to use pads for my first AF a couple of weeks ago, it was so heavy and full of clots... sorry tmi I know what you mean though, I felt discusting!

I tried pads for the first few days then I couldn't put up with it anymore and switched to tampons.

Pad = horrible

You can use tampons for your first period. Its for the lochia you dont use tampons. I hate sanitary towels, I dont feel very sanitary when Im using them
