what do you think of the name 'sonny' for a boy?
our surname is 'fox'

my family hate it , but i quite like it.
we are probably having olivia for a girl.

i rather like it personally and i love olivia for a girl!

i would personally use a fairly traditional middle name with a more unusual first name so they have something to fall back on if the want to.

we ended up with three names (we knew it was a boy) that we liked and decided to choose one once he was born. we didnt tell anyone so that we wouldnt be influenced by them!

we figured that once its final and thats it they are less likely to voice unwanted opinions and try to have their say.

ummm - no don't like 'Sonny' personally, i think it is open to a lot of bullying but then again, kids find many ways to be mean.
Like Olivia - not a name i would use but i like it.

I like Sonny too! I suggested it to my OH a while ago, but he pointed out it would then be 'Sonny D' (his surname begins with D) Ooops! So not an option for us sadly!
