Hi All,

I am having acute back pain. paracetamol is not working. can i have ibuprofen while breast feeding. plz advice..thanks

It can appear in your breast milk but in low amounts, it's unlikely it'll cause any harm to your baby but obviously ask your doctor if your baby was premature and all that jazz.

Paracetamol appears in the milk too but I think in smaller quantities.

Same as above, I asked the midwives and they told me all painkillers are fine. The amount that goes into your milk (from things like paracetamol, ibuprofine etc) is v minimal.

thanks dear all...:) I will feed my son then...i was fearing i will hv to bring him to bottle..
