i'm in the middle of making it for tea and just wondered if it would be ok to give to a 10 month old. i know its salty though isnt it?!

as long as you dont add salt to the potatoes then i think its fine, its a great finger food for them

xxx

I LOVE corned beef hash, with beans and tomato ketchup yummy im hungry now!

I think the corned beef does contain quite a bit of salt? Probably had the tea now though, am sure it won't do any harm ;)

They are allowed it from 7 month upwards, it is in recipe leaflet I got from the health centre, as Layla says just dont add salt to the tatties!xxx

how do u make this , me and my mum really wanna try it but dont know how to do it

heres how I make it:

boil some potatos so there soft enough to mash
add milk and butter to the potatos to make mash potato
fry some onions in a pan
add the corned beef to the onions and heat and stir til it goes soft
add the corned beef to the mash potato
put in a caserole type dish and sprinkle with cheese
put in the oven until the cheese is melted and goldne brown

really really easy and yummy! dont know if anyone else does it differently? I made it the other night after reading this thread.
