I was going to say same as Cassi, can't get anything like that down here!!!

I still class myself as a midlander too

Our house was more than double that! :(

You're right, we're in the wrong side of the country! :D

Think we need to move

I moved here from Birmingham in July and there is such a divide in prices for 80 miles!!!

Eh hem! There's nothing wrong with being a Southener!

Well except that the 3 bed House DH and I have just agreed sale on is a whopping £395 (after bidding war)

*Re-thinks argument*

:rotfl:  Blimey

Thought ours was bad in Oxford, ours is £415 but for a 4 bed :)

Where abouts in London are you?

My OH has moved here from Putney which he really liked but Oxford was half way for us both.

London prices are high though aren't they... two lots of our friends have just bought properties, one in Sheene which was baout £500k and one in Notting hill for £850k...is lovely though, has a hot tub in the bedroom!

I can't quite afford that but well done with your sale, that seems to be well priced for London! :D

WOW that is loverly and really good money
our old house was 200 thousand, 3 bed 1 double 2 single, 1 bathroom small house

ill PM you my address then ha!

I did actually do a mortgage quote last night an its an extra £300 a month, so too much of a jump in one go just now - ive seriously worded OH about getting a better job - wether he likes his current one or not! :rotfl: :rotfl:

You lot are silly paying all that cash for the same size house I can get at half thwe price - you should all move up north, specially since us northerners are all much more friendly, and can drink a whole lot more................oh crap, did I type that out loud!
