Hi all so i had a miscarriage two weeks ago unfortunately i didn't pass everything by myself and so had to go and have a vacuum aspiration i would have been 11weeks iv just taken a pregnancy test to check it's gone back negative it's still very positive does anyone know how faint the line should be by now? We didn't go on to any form of contraception due to us still wanting a baby we have had sex since the loss obviously after the bleeding stopped i know it can take some time for the hcg levels to drop but just wondering how "positive" should the test be type thing xx

It can take upto 6weeks for the levels to drop mine took 3... I would wait a week & test again & if still positive ring the EPU xx

I took nearly 6 weeks for mine to come back down last time Im afraid That wait for your first AF after a mc can feel like being stuck in limbo. Id wait at least another week to test again

From what I can remember it only took 4 weeks for my levels to go down. I agree you should wait a week or two and test again and go from there x
