Hi all,


I am totally confused, I Have been temping, ferning, using OPKs and fertility apps for the past 18 months and thought I knew what my body was doing and when, how wrong was I! I normally ovulate around cd18, although I start using OPK aroung cd8 just in case I ovulate earlier (as the odd month has been known to do so). Monitor was saying low until Tuesday 6th November (cd16) when it changed to high, started noticing a change in my cf too (egg white consistency), everything was perfectly normal. Saturday 10th monitor still says high (flashy face), full ferning, temps all over coverline, but slight bleeding, pinky red. By the evening, flow was a little heavier, not as heavy as a period and a completely different consistency to a period too (watery) plus I’m not due for at least another 10 days, no clots either. Today (Sunday 11th) same flow (light to medium) light red with pinky tinge, still no clots and very very watery, monitor still flashing smiley face at me??? PLEASE help...No idea what is going on, has anyone else experienced this and did you find out what was going on?

You can get slight bleeding around ovulation. Could be that maybe?

Thank you Jellybean, have been googling all day to find some peace of mind and it does kind of point to an ovulation bleed. At the moment it’s stopped, fingers crossed it stays that way, to say it’s freaked me out is an understatement! I’ve never heard of bleeding around ovulation before... learn something new everyday!

I hadn't either till ttc and I googled everything. Never had it myself but came across something about it online!

I'm waiting for my AF to show up. Had mind tummy cramps last couple days and my app says it's due tomorrow. Hoping it won't show and I get a bfp. Felt like this a bit last time i got a positive so fingers crossed!

Ok so after 1 day of a medium watery pinky red bleed on and off throughout the day, I have gone to spotting brown when I wipe, nothing on my pad. I don’t know whether to reset my fertility apps or carry on with this month?? Clear blue monitor still gave me a flashing smiley face this morning too and still ferning on saliva test. Really don’t know what to think? Think i’m Possibly going to go insane xxx

I'd go with the monitor if you are just spotting. But maybe talk to your GP. I bled mid month when I had a cyst.
