whats the earliest u can detect a pregnancy? can u detect when ur say only about 2 wks gone?
sounds a stupid question sorry!

ive no idea why anyone would need or want to detect it that soon.
I think the earliest it can be detected is 4 weeks.

LOL don;t take my word for it though. a 2 week pregnancy could be detected by ultra sound i don't know

keep checking this thread and someone might tell you some more info!

oh no i wasnt.
i am just wondering as after a m/c 5 wks ago, when i went for a scan the mw there said somethin was detected on the scan which when i asked could it be that im pg again, she said it could be the start of a new pregnancy, i dont want to get my hopes up, but ive been gettin pains today so im thinkin af might be coming an ill be crushed if it does as ive kind of got it in my head i am pg again which ive tried not to do, so i was gonna take a test but i think ill just wait an see what the next few weeks brings.

Some women have be known to get a positive as little as 6DPO although they say 9-12 DPO

i havent had af since m/c so i havent got a clue as to when i ovulated.
i was told ur most fetile after havin one so im just best waitin to see!

I'm pretty sure I got caught through my ordeal - But a missed appointment made it impossible to confirm that.

If your concerned I'd test at home & if you get a negative result put it down to your body adjusting after you loss.

I think what the nurse said was a bit unfair. On one of my scans when they suspected my ectopic & it slipped through on its own eventually she said it could be water or air - Along those lines anyway. Turns out it wasn’t, it had slipped through on its own eventually but well I'm sure you see what I'm saying.
