The reason i am asking is because Ive talked my OH into letting me get everything new, even a pram (i think, woohoo finally) and was just about to order a pink travel system and something in my head stopped me, I was told by the sonographer she was sure that my LO was a girl. Has anyone ever had one and it has been wrong?
I know I can wait till Tuesday to double check but the pram has £50 off and im not sure how long the offer is on for x x

ooo i just saw this and had to reply.... im pretty sure they are very acurate... however my sisters friend was told at her 5month and her 4d scan it was a girl, so got all pink things obviously... and it was a boy!!!!!! BUT its not something i hear about often whatsoever so i'm sure you will be ok =)))

she was mortified (but still happy to have a healthy baby boy) but still yeah.... like i said though, it's definately not something you hear about a lot!!! im sure the other ladies can reassure you too! =))

OMG! Ive only ever heard a normal 2d scan be wrong once but glad I asked now. Ive got my OH thinking now, so think ive blew my chance of ordering the buggy :( x x

NOOOO im sure she is a little girl =)) its so rare though! i think you should get the buggy! =)

Might post and see if anyone has one first and see what the reviews are and then sleep on it and if I decide to get it ill order it while im in work then he cant say anything ;) x x

My friends sister was told she was having a boy and gave birth to a beautiful baby girl! She was so shocked! I was told at my scan that she was pretty much 100% sure I was having a girl but she did say make sure you get them to check again at my 20 week scan just in case!!

I've heard of 2D scans being wrong but not the 4D ones! Bet your OH is trying to stop you buying a pink pram so he dont have to push it lol! I know my hubby wouldn't!

Thanks for you replies ladies, definetly going to sleep on it.
My OH didnt seem to bothered about it being pink before i mentioned what if the scan was wrong and our little missy is really a boy, dont really think hes thought of it like that Sarah, im not going to say anything either as the pram is gorg ;) x x

Maybe you could order it and they could take it back if it's a boy? Maybe they wouldn't with such a long return time though
My friend was told from a 2d scan she was having a girl and it was a boy!! oopsies lol x

No dont mention it and give him ideas! My hubby big and rough round the edges, so wont go near anything even slightly pink, be interesting if we have a girl! Although to be honest I only do black really so I suppose I wouldn't look at too much pink things luckily for him!

Maybe hold off until your scan next week or order it then cancel, sure they wouldn't mind you changing colour if you had to!

I'm sure she is a girl. If you decide to hold off on the pram remember there is always offers on prams floating about, and I suppose £50 is only £50 if it would be worse if it was half price. Check out the return policy too or they might have something where you can change it within a certain amount of days if you change your mind!

:)

I have never heard of a 4d scan being wrong but i have heard a 2d scan can be wrong didnt stop me buying lots of pink stuff after my 20 week scan although i feel a bit better about it now as i asked her to check nothing had grown when i had my scan last week and she said still no sign of boy parts.

I would still buy the pram hun

I would buy the pram hun and that's coming from me who was convinced I was having a boy until they doubled checked and I saw for myself!! lol!
If you order it now and you find out at your scan that the sex was wrong just send it straight back rather than waiting til LO is born.
Like someone mentioned above, there is always offers on prams and i'm sure there'll be again if you decide not to order it and wait xxx

I ordered it this morning just hope she definetly is a little miss :) x x
