Camping on saturday

hi were off camping to reighton sands near filey on saturday, im really looking forwar to it b know why does everyone laugh and say i wont cope coz im pregnant, makes me so mad.

anyway has anyone been that way for holiday as i havent and would love to know what its like x

Just back from a few weeks camping round France and done quite a few weekends as well. Your not mad was still good fun but a port-a-loo helped at night lol! I also suffered a lot of hip pain at night which has eased off since being back in my bed the last few nights, so take lots of extra pillows. I broke a camp chair flopping down into it so be aware of that lol! Only other difference was my balance was rubbish doing the camping shower thing where you try to get your clothes on in a small space without them getting wet and dirty on the floor, that's hard though anyway!
We have to adapt to normal life pregnant and camping was no different, you just think about what your doing more like we do every day and find better ways to do things.

I was camping last weekend for one night to see how we went. We are then going to the Isle of Wight for 4 nights next week.

Chemical toilet and good airbed was all we did extra and it did help allot as we were as far away from the toilet block as you can get...

Also was good fun watching my OH do most of the tent putting up. did help a little.
