I did all of my buying from 12 weeks onwards and got absolutely EVERYTHING before Rubie arrived; clothes, toys, toiletries etc. However, I now wish that I hadn't because now she's here I've realised a lot of the stuff I've bought is useless and an absolute waste of money, especially all the clothes because I got loads bought for me and because Rubie was so small, none of the stuff I've bought fits her. By the time she will fit into her clothes the weather will have changed and it will all be no good :(

I made the mistake of buying way too many clothes and outfits for jamie.. his newborn size clothes lasted 2 weeks and half of the outfits were never worn as he was in sleepsuits a lot to start of with.
Ive got about 2/3 huge bag fulls of clothes which he has grown out of already and he's only 4 months old!
Well at least next time round i wont have to buy any more clothes!

Don't count on it! Mason was born in July, and it was so hot he wore nothing but vests in the daytime!
Brody was born in December, so although we've been fine for vests and sleepsuits,we had to buy warm outfits and snowsuits etc.
We only bought 2 "newborn" sized outfits, for over xmas, so thats been ok. However, we've got so much 0-3 stuff that was bought for us I doubt he'll get chance to wear it all!
