Buying baby stuff?

I've knitted quite a lot of baby bits, but s far have managed to stop myself from buying anything.

Every day though I'm on kiddicare and mothercare websites, planning everything I want to buy!

I know which nappies, bottles, monitor, swing and stroller I want.

It's sooooo hard not to buy stuff, especially when I see a good deal.

Anyone else in the same boat?

Im in the same boat! Altho we still have alot of our sons baby stuff I want everything new!! Im due in March and the OH wants to wait 2 buy everything in the January sales plus we will know the sex by then.... so hard not 2 spend!!! xxxx

I'm in exactly the same position we've put TTC on hold so now in the WTT boat and I just can't seem to help myself I'm absolutely addicted to Mama's & Papa's which is a little out of our price range for stuff but its all so lovely. I actually have a bookmark folder now for all my favourite stuff!

Me too! I can't stop looking and pricing stuff up! I stop myself from buying because I know how silly that would be! When ever I go shopping I always find myself looking at baby clothes! I can't help myself and my OH now has to drag me away!

I have a car seat toy, bottles and a steriliser! All fab bargains bought for £27 + £10 voucher instead of £70. Couuldnt pass on those deals!
I'm currently knitting my 1st blanket

I'm undecided which pram to get though I'd hold off buying that yet! x

Aww!! I wish I'd known you guys were feeling like me, I've just missed a 25% off sale on baby stuff at Tesco cos I thought I would be the worst person on the planet for buying stuff before I even get pregnant!!

Darn. I'll maybe just have to start small and buy a wee dummy or something

Well, choice of two, either PetiteStar Zia 4+ travel system, or Hauck Travel Shopper. I was having a wee look in John Lewis the other day, and although I like the Quinny and iCandy ones, I don't think they're really me. The petite star is light and small, good for me cos I have a bad back, so I think that's my favourite. I want to buy it now!!

I've even watched videos on youtube to see how easy it is to switch between pram buggy and car seat attachment!! Obsessive or what.

Well, I like to call it organised, but no I really am obsessed!!

oooffft me and OH spend like 80% of our time online picking out things for LO and then whenever we go out places he'll spy something he likes and he gets the most adorable look on his face!! It's hard to resist buying things though =[[ May get like a little teddy or something... Like the dummy thing but when I'm stressed I suck on things (don't know why) spoons and my thumb being favourites since I was about 6! loll so a dummy would most likely end up being mine for the car=D Cant tell you how many times I've nearly choked on spoons with muppets cutting me loll!!!

Got everything picked out though, OH is definately the one who'll buy something first loll!

HAHHAA! Spookily he's just phoned me over a little shop he's just seen in germany while on duty(so bored out of his head until deployment date arrives, poor sod) say's he'll take me to it when we pick up his stuff to move back to the UK next year loll!!!

I've got 3 to decide from. Sola, Zoom or oyster
I haven't played with any just yet. Storage also comes into it. I'm the same, I call it research! I'd love a bugaboo chameleon, though a bit out of our price range.
I do like the baby jogger city mini as a stroller though, but looking at the above for our main pram. OH may get a say in the colour like last time x

oooooh a woman I used to work for had the chameleon- bloody love it!! Don't think OH will let me though..... then again.... he's picked out like the most expensive nursery furture(and more gorgeous) I've ever seen..... hhehehe shopaholics me and him =D

I just bought a Red Pacapod Napier and love it!!!

I'm in LOVE with the O'Baby Zezu in red. I've looked at all the bugaboos and iCandy and stuff but still love the Zezu more. I think it's the spots!! And think of everything I can buy with the £700 I'll save!!

The PetiteStar Zia is spotty too. Well the one I like is. I'll probably go for neutral creams and whites for everything else but I want a pretty travel system!! I've found my solution to worrying about spending the money saved up for it, I've bought vouchers to add to the vouchers we got as wedding gifts, and I'll get all the baby stuff with them! Sorted - can't spend it on anything else now!!

Can you ebay or gumtree off your old prams and make some pocket money for the new pram? It also means other mums who can't afford a brand new one can benefit from your pram addiction?
