Bump panic

I'm literally obsessed with my 'bump' it isn't growing! It even feels like it's shrunk
With my last two I was a whale by 20 weeks which is now less than two weeks away and I have nothing! I'm panicking so much.. will hospital do anything? Or do I have to wait until my 20week scan?
(Excuse my messy bedroom was in middle of making the bed!)

Hi Jamie. It could be that you have an anterior placenta. I do and my bump has only really popped in the last week and I'm 22+4.
I know mums who have had bigger bumps with anterior placenta but also quite a few who stayed small until quite late on.

Sorry, meant to add...do you feel baby move at all? If you haven't felt anything yet I wouldn't worry too much as again, could be anterior placenta but if you have and movement is less or stopped, give your midwife a call but I wouldn't be too worried. Especially as you look very fit so probably have a strong core. Xx

Jamie hope you're feeling a little less panicky since you posted . You did say you are a lot fitter this pregnacy hun so probably not worth comparing your previous pregnancies to this one. Like GG says your stomach and core are probably a lot stronger now. Xx

Yes this is true! I like to panic about absolutely everything.. it's exhausting!
I can feel baby moving and from the outside too! You can see little blips on my belly now and OH can feel it too, since feeling that last night it's reassured me a lot as I know it must be growing! Got my scan in 10 days so not too long to wait x
Thank you ladies, I really need to try and get a grip with this anxiety sometimes!

Jamie...I thought my bump had popped the other day. How wrong I was. Woke up this morning like a bloody whale. Genuinely huge bump. Above belly button as well, hard and no chance of sucking it in any more, lol

Enjoy your normal shape while you can...it won't last long. Xx

Haha! That made me giggle!
It's a shame I want to enjoy every second but I just can't wait to have this baby in my arms... I love being pregnant but I can't wait for it to be over x

I didn't really start to show until I past the 20w mark. I'm 37 weeks now and people still say I look small, as much as I might disagree lol. Every body and every pregnancy is different, I really wouldn't worry about it especially when there are ladies out there who don't seem to show at all

Have a friend like this. She's size 8 and was the whole time through the pregnancy. Never needed maternity clothes. Never had a bump more than looking like she'd had a big meal, lol. Her little boy was 6lb on the dot
