Bump name's and origin please - bit of fun

used to call bump jelly baby because thats what it looked like on my scan at 10 weeks

do you know what we haven't really given this one a name, tend to call it "baby" how boring trying to get luke into understanding whats happening, i think he might be a bit horrified if i said we had a monkey in my belly as he takes everything so literally at this age!!

I can just picture him looking at you wide eyed and wondering how on earth you have a monkey in your tummy I say to Maddison 'is there a baby in there?' and she puts her head on my tummy and goes 'ahhhhh'

Same here, trying get Aaliyah understand by saying baby or brother/sister and she's having none of it, when I talk about it she goes into selective hearing mode...I think she's horrified that there's a baby in my belly as i'm sure she thinks they come from shops like her dollies

We're also boring and just call it the baby. I can't think of any cute names that would suit it. Of course, I'm still being careful about this pregnancy.

I just started saying Pixie one day and it caught on. No idea why or where I got it from but the whole family use it now

Despite it being very early, ours has ended up being called Twinkle (because I happened to say he was not much more than a twinkle in my eye at the moment!) - or Twink for short.

Yes, I just typed he. Hmmmm. That keeps happening.....

I know this is an old thread, but i love it, hope its ok me resurrecting it
We're calling him Fernando at the minute, cos I keep singing abba's fernando to myself/the baby.
And also as this is the only time I would get away with an LFC reference, but don't tell the oh that! haha.
(i also think its a girl, but i keep calling it him.. no idea why lol)

When i was first preg we called it peanut cos i read somewhere it was the size of a peanut. After scan at 9 weeks its looked like a jelly bean so now we call it jelly bean.
