Hi everyone...so I'm 21 weeks exactly and I am suffering massively from bump envy (I didn't realise it was a thing but im pretty sure it Is now) it's my 3rd pregnancy and with my 2 boys I had a nice neat little bump at the front and nothing else...this time my word I look like I've just been eating for fun, my excess 'flab' (cos that's all it looks like) is all the way around and even in my bum and thighs! I promise you all I haven't eaten to extreme either. Has anyone else experienced this and by some miracle the excess has turned into a nice bump or have I slim to no chances of looking actually pregnant this time🤔x

Hey, I'm expecting my first baby so don't really have a direct comparison that I can offer, but didn't want your post to go unanswered! I experienced quite a lot of bloating in the first trimester (and at the very beginning of the 2nd), and by the night time it definitely made me look flabby and like the weight was spread out across flanks, thighs and bum. I have noticed it has calmed down a little over the last week (I'm 16+1) and I now feel more like my normal size and shape, just with a rounded lower tummy. Like you, I wasn't eating to excess, thus I could only really put down what I was experiencing to bloating. So might just be a 'phase' of your pregnancy you are going through? Good luck with everything and I am sure you look lovely - we are always the harshest judges of ourselves and our appearance.xx

There's an old wives tale that springs to mind, boys carry more neatly than girls.
Do you know what you're having?
I was like a whale with DD, I put on 5 stone!
But I had a firm and distinctive bump by 25 weeks.

I notice this is an older post. Are you feeling better about it? :)

My bumps have been the opposite way round nice and neat at the front with my 2 girls and this time I seem to have put weight on everywhere... having a boy this time eeek
