So does everyone's bumps drop a few weeks before labour?

I'm 37 + 4 and there is no sign of my bump dropping. Have had lots of Brixton hicks, back, bump and pelvis pain but it all seems to have slowed down now. I think baby has got itself very comfy in there the past few days and no sign of anything.

So when did your bump drop and how long after did you go into labour? X

Has your midwife told you if the heads engaged? Some bumps don't visibly drop... My midwife always comments on how low my baby is but everyone tells me my baby looks high x

Bumps don't always drop and babies don't always engage until labour! With ds I got 3/5ths engaged at the most and he was free at mw appt 2 days before going into labour. I don't think this baby is interesting in engaging, given how flipping long it took him to turn!

I'm on my 4th, I never realised after your first that the baby's head can drop in and out regularly. That's what my midwife told me 2 weeks ago. Everyone tells me, I've dropped but I'm huge xx

Mine definitely dropped a few weeks ago!!!..it feels so low and head engaged but alas....no baby lol

Thanks ladies. Midwife told me head was low but free still at my app last week. Was just interested to see if everyone noticeably drops.

Mine didn't srip at all last time, and I don't think she was ever fully engaged ~ never developed the waddle!! X

Mine dropped a little on due day last time and I had him the next day x
