Any advice ladies
The first one was last week where I felt like he has dropped midwife confirmed and tonight it looks completely different I was under the impression they couldn't move back up

Unfortunately babies can move position right until the end and with 7 weeks to go I wouldn't worry at all, baby still has room and plenty of time, being lower/ engaged early doesn't have any impact on when baby will arrive it will all happen when you and baby are ready.

Agree with kimmy hun, still a lovely bump no matter where! Hehe xxx

My bump has also changed shapes recently, midwife appointment today confirmed baby is still head down but that baby is still 'free' so not engaging yet, guessing that is when I'll see the dropping properly start ! X

I had emergency growth scan today along with fetal monitor
Baby has had excessive growth the last two weeks
The scan showed his head and femurs where slightly larger than gestation
But his tummy is plotting on the 97th centile already!!!!!
His head and belly circumference are the same !
Estimated fetal weight is 5.6 pound already with seven weeks to go

I've had blood tests today and have that awful glucose test in the morning for gestational diabetes too think they going to be monitoring baby now as I only have seven weeks left
His head is down and just above the point of engaging so she said anytime from now

Any experienced ladies and advice ?i explined how uncomfortable I am as I'm only small myself shortness of breath and bad pains in my moo!
So hungry as I have to fast for my blood tests x

hiya!

similar situ here, had a scan at 29 weeks and he was measuring 2 weeks ahead 97th centile. his weight at 29 weeks was 3lb 7oz. i have a re scan in 2 weeks. my glucose came back fine but essentially was told to aim for 38 weeks and will more than likely be a c section (unless his weight as leveled out!)

i can relate to being uncomfy my hips are sore and lower back. i hope your glucose test comes back ok and you dont have to wait too long for the results!

xx

I had the same thing last week baby wasn't moving I was on the monitor and ended up with a growth scan next day she's 4lb 2oz and I don't have the gestational diabetes they've let me be ok I've had the pains down there too. I'm feeling good the pressure and struggling to pee. Hopefully all is well and he's just gunna be a chub hope everything goes well with your results xx

Hope it's not GD but glad they're checking it out just incase.. If it's any help I was majorly fed up at around 30-35 weeks, I don't know why but I really hit a brick wall. You're not alone with the aches and pains, unfortunately it's just the way it is :( Hang in there, my best advice is to keep as busy as possible as thinking about everything too much can make time pass impossibly slowly! (As I am experiencing now waiting for any possible sign of labour...) Hope all tests come back normal and you've just got a little bruiser :) Also worth noting that the estimate weights are by no means 100% accurate, I had a growth scan with my daughter and their guess was way out so don't get too hung up/anxious about that in isolation x

glad its not just me thats been grumpy for the past couple of weeks defo 30 week wall i think! cant seem to shake it, feel in limbo, the end is in sight but not on mat leave yet..

their 'estimate' weights are so frustrating, i really hope hes not grown too much at the next scan, im desperate for VBAC. i'll be so upset if they say i need a c section because the scans show hes 9/10lb and hes actually less!

xx

You're totally right.. the amount of intervention that takes place due to these estimates must be so high.. I guess they have to err on the side of caution but you do wonder what would happen if we were just left to it?! Saying that, I would never go against advice or testing purely because I couldn't live with myself if something went wrong... Really, really hope you can have your VBAC! x

absolutely! they did put the fear of god in me, 3 possible outcomes 2 of which i would NEVER risk so i will just go with their advice but i do hope so.. thank you :)

good luck to you - any day now! how exciting xx

That diabetes test was awful! Nearly ended up passing out was like a frail kitten all day.
Awaiting some results now the piriton is helping with the skin itching anyway

I know the wall :( feels like the Pregnancy will never end even though it's only a few weeks now
Baby has everything just needs few more hospital milks waiting for my house keys as well that's dragging x

Thank you lovely :) Beyond excited now but time is dragging and i'm not hopeful that she's going to be particularly on time!

Oh Honeybear i've heard they're grim :( Hope you're feeling better now and that the results come through nice a quickly x

Hope your results come back ok Honeybear xx

I had the glucose test and it can back negative and had a scan baby was measuring a week ahead that was about 2/3 weeks ago.

I had a midwife appt on Tuesday just gone at 31 weeks and she measured me 34 weeks which did follow the line in mr graph.... should she send me for another growth scan as she did not ?!!!

I ended up in tears with her was so embarrassing when she asked me about movements, I just said that I'm finding it really scary tracking the movements and feel that the responsibility it all on my shoulders she said if I'm ever worried to go to the hospital and be put on the machine but I said I would be up there everyday if I had my way!

I need to try and stay positive I might start meditating in the morning and think positive thoughts maybe that will help?!xxx

P.s I don't come on here much but looking at my little ticker makes me so proud and happy can't believe I'm nearly 32 weeks already! Xxx

Thankyou for the replies ladies.
Bile acids have come back ok again but still waiting on diabetes results.
Felt really sicky again last two days and struggling to sleep :(
Started raspberry leaf tea , I don't know how any of you have kept sane I feel in such a limbo like I won't get to hold baby ! And I'm fed up of craving bath sponges ?! Xxx

Had terrible braxton hicks last night and some how managed to just randomly wee stood up again
Looser bowel movements too TMI.
Feel like crap today tri 3 nausea set back. Rang triage over pains which lasted four hours then stopped
She said to keep an eye on them with lots of huffing
I hate ringing for that reason

Hi, did you have ah update on glucose results?

I am 37wks measuring 43wks combination of baby and high fluid but nothing to worry about.
Last pg I had polyhydraminoes (can't spell) so in labour baby moved around and cord came through so I was unlucky with the prolapse by ds thankfully was OK after the csection.

Ultrasound results can be off they measured a huge baby and lots of fluid his head was off the chart and femur was small, he came out perfectly normal! They have measured a big baby and high fluid but I think I have more fluid than anything else because this one feels like he kicks around freely considering he should be lacking space right now!

I have felt ready since 33/34 weeks to have this one I think that's because of the breathlessness at night and lower heavy pain. Not long you'll get there and forget all about this :) x

Movement tracking can be so scary can't it . I get so worked up if I don't feel him move for a little bit
All results have come back ok I've just got a little pudding in there haha help meee
Having raspberry leaf tea everyday now and from 36 may try the evening promise capsules ??

Hope your baby is here now Katie can't imagine going over due!! Xx
