My Alex has had a sticky eye since birth I took him to the docs who swabbed his eye but this was after I had cleaned it with boiled water and was not gunky and no infection was found so I asked for my own swab and when I swabbed him when his eye looked bad it was infected, well I have now had 3 different types of anti biotics, washed with saline solution, boiled water, tea and nothing has worked so I have squirted breastmilk in his eye tonight so fingers crossed this worked for anyone?

Conjunctivitis, eye infections and eye gunk have always been treated with a cold clean teabag held on the eye in my house, i dont know why it works but it always has, i have also used this method with dogs, cats and horses....hehe, they hate it but it works.

Cold tea is what I used to do until I discovered the wonders of breast milk. Sophie had a gunky eye for a couple of days but as soon as I squirted her in the eye whilst she was feeding it cleared up. I've never seen it clear up that quickly before, I was utterly amazed. x
