I should really know the answer to this question after already having two children but i bottle fed them both so don't know much about breastfeeding.
I plan to try and breastfeed this time round but was wondering.....?

Do you have to clean your nips with anything specific to kill any germs & bacteria before feeding baby?

It's just have to be so thorough when bottle feeding and sterilize everything so do you have to do anything to keep extra clean when breastfeeding?

Nope just get em out and latch baby on and away you go :)

I never have as i have never been told to.
Good for you if you try it! You'll love it!

Nope, no sterilising, wiping or cleaning required!

whop it out, pop it in and away you go! that's the beauty of it   it doesn't cost anything either!!

that's not to say that its the easiest thing in the world though. but there's loads of support in the feeding section of the forum. good luck!

no, thats one of the pro's of BFing, no preparation needed whatsoever. as long as ur generally clean and u bathe or shower every 1 or 2 days its fine. x

P.S...

GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

If you need any help.. ask :D
